The Palestinian presidency asserted its support to Saudi Arabia, the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) and Arab countries that earlier on Thursday launched air raids on Houthi targets in Yemen.
In a press release, the presidency said such air strikes aim to preserve Yemen's unity and support the legitimate Yemeni leadership.
The statement asserted the importance of abiding by the GCC initiative that calls for returning to dialogue to reach Yemenis' aspirations as well as restoring security and stability in Yemen.
Earlier in the day, Saudi Arabia and its Gulf allies and other Arab countries, launched air raids on Houthi targets in the unrest-hit Yemen.
