Palestinian President meets Yemeni official

Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas met today with Yemen’s Shura Council Speaker Abdul Rahman Mohammed Othman. The meeting addressed relations between the two countries as well as ways to develop them in several fields. Abbas presented to Othman the ongoing Israeli violations against the Palestinians and their holy sites, the illegal settlement activities and the severe conditions of the prisoners and the hunger strikers. Abbas arrived in Sana’a Monday in an official two-day visit.
