The House of Representatives agreed to refer MP Samir Ghatas to a special investigation committee after he insulted the parliament and legislators, forcing him out of the parliament's hall during the morning general session on Monday.
Parliament Speaker Ali Abdel Aal said Ghatas used to insult the house inside the hall and outside it and has been writing essays in which he insulted the MPs.
Ghatas was supposed to be referred to the values committee but it has not been formed yet, thus he would be referred to a special committee, the speaker noted.
Abdel Aal further underlined that any MP who will breach the parliamentary rules, would be referred immediately to the values committee.
