parliament speaker announces names of panel members to quiz MP over insults

Speaker of the House of Representatives Ali Abdel Aal announced the names of members a special committee formed to interrogate MP Samir Ghattas over insulting the parliament.
The parliament agreed Monday to form the special committee to investigate with the lawmaker over allegedly insulting the parliament and writing opinion articles offending the speaker and other lawmakers, Abdel Aal said.
The committee will be chaired by Counselor Hassan Bassiouny with the membership of MPs Mohamed Abu Zeid, Tharwat Bakhet, Hesham el Shatouri and Salah Hasabullah.
