Parliamentary committee discusses 2015-2018 Bahrain action plan

First Deputy Speaker, Chairman of 2015 – 2018 Government Action Plan Study Committee, Ali Abdulla Al-Aradi, stated that the committee today discussed the fourth item of the government action plan related to the infrastructure and the fifth items on the environment and urban development.
He pointed out that a workshop on means of preparing governments plans and discussing them will be held to enhance the committee members' information.
He said that the committee discussed the fourth item of the government's plan based on the strategy of securing a supportive infrastructure for sustainable development. And the fifth item of the same on the environment and urban development was discussed based on the strategy of sustainable management for strategic resources with ensuring sustainable urban development.
The committee also discussed initiatives related to policy of bolstering the efficient use of resources and energy, in addition to the policy of providing safe and proper housing units for citizens, as part of environment and urban development item.
