
The House of Representatives special committee for reviewing laws of special importance approved seven presidential decrees that were issued during the parliament's absence.
The approved decrees are:
- Law 19 of 2014 establishing a national security council.
- Law 123 of 2015 amending some provisions of Law 19 of 2014.
- Law 20 of 2014 establishing a supreme council of the Armed Forces.
- Law 21 of 2014 establishing a national defense council.
- Law 124 of 2015 amending some provisions of Law 21 of 2014.
- Law 28 of 2015 establishing and regulating a national committee to repatriate Egypt's funds and assets from abroad.
- Law 140 of 2014 on the extradition of defendants and convicts.
