
The parliament's Arab affairs committee rejected on Tuesday any interference, especially from Iran, in Bahrain's domestic affairs.
In a statement, the committee slammed Monday's armed attack on a Bahraini prison that left one policemen dead.
A security lockdown was imposed around Jau prison, south of the capital Manama, on Monday after ten inmates convicted of terror offences escaped the prison.
The committee voiced support for the Kingdom of Bahrain in its fight against terrorism.
It also condemned the recent terrorist attacks in Iraq that left scores of people dead and injured.
It offered condolences to the victims' families and wished the injured a speedy recovery.
