The national powers and the leaders of the permanent council of Egypt's parties pledged their support for President Abdel Fattah El Sisi in facing non-stop foreign conspiracies to hinder the country's development process and stability.
During a meeting organized by the council on Sunday evening in Beheria governorate, the leaders also observed a minute of silence at the victims of EgyptAir plane that crashed in the Mediterranean Sea on Thursday with 66 people on board.
Speaking at the gathering, the council's chairman, Ahmed Abdel-Hadi, said that the current situation in the country required from all parties to set aside disputes and unite in face of foreign and internal conspiracies.
For his part, Chairman of the Egypt Arab Socialist Party Wahid el Qusari said the Egyptian people would not kneel down in face of any conspiracy.
