Peace process tops Mikati-Abbas talks

Lebanese Prime Minister Najib Mikati and Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas on Monday met in the Saudi city of Jeddah. The meeting touched on the Palestinian-Lebanese bilateral ties, the headway of the situation in the region, and the peace process stumbled due to Israeli intransigence, Palestinian agency, WAFA reported. Mikati and Abbas are scheduled to partake in the extraordinary Islamic summit to be held tomorrow Tuesday in Mecca.
