
Cairo Criminal Court affirmed in the reasons of the ruling issued in the trial of the second Rafah massacre that it has evidence from audio recordings by convicted Adel Habara, security agencies, eyewitnesses and technical reports that the convicted in the case carried out their crime out of their extremist thoughts.
It said the convicted, who confessed to their crime, treated the men of police and army as apostate and killed them in cold blood.
Seven convicts including Habara were sentenced to death and 25 others received jail sentenced ranging from three to 15 years. About 25 soldiers were killed in the massacre.
