
Prime Minister Sherif Ismail has highlighted the need for maintaining coordination between the agriculture and irrigation ministries and the Egyptian Countryside Development Company to reach studies about the best crops in a move meant to achieve high economic benefit.
The studies will be available to investors and junior farmers and aim at achieving the highest economic revenues, he said during a meeting on Monday with the attendance of the minister of water resources and irrigation and the board chairman of the company.
Ismail added it is essential to use state-of-the-art agricultural systems that contribute to increasing the volume of production of agricultural crops.
The meeting discussed ways of following up the implementation of 1.5 million feddan reclamation and development project.
