
Egyptian Prime Minister Ibrahim Mahlab on Friday met with the families of Egyptians abducted in Libya.
During the meeting, the premier briefed them on efforts are exerted to ensure the safe return of the abductees.
The meeting was attended by leaders of the Orthodox Church in Egypt.
The terrorist Daesh group has published photos of 21 abducted Coptic Egyptians in Libya, while the Egyptian presidency stated on Thursday it would follow up the incident.
Yesterday, President Abdel Fattah El Sisi ordered to airlift Egyptians who want to leave Libya back to their country.
