
Deputy Chief of Faisal Police Station Walid AL Sadeq was killed on Sunday in a manhunt launched in Suez governorate to arrest one of the dangerous elements, senior security source announced on Sunday.
Speaking to MENA, the source said the policeman was killed in an exchange of gunfire with the dangerous element in the area of Faisal police station.
Also, the dangerous element was killed in the shooting, the source added.
An automatic rifle and quantity of ammunition were found in the possession of the terrorist, he asserted.
Interior Minister Magdy Abdel Ghafar mourned the slain policeman and directed providing all necessary assistance to the martyr's family.
