One police conscript was wounded when gunmen opened fire at a police patrol in El Sallam City in Suez late on Sunday, a security source said.
The gunmen were driving a motorcycle when they opened fire at the patrol members who fired back, the source added.
The conscript, who was shot in his left arm, was ambulanced to the Armed Forces Hospital in Suez.
