Pope Tawadros receives new Egyptian ambassador to Ethiopia

Pope Tawadros II of Alexandria and Patriarch of Saint Mark Diocese received Tuesday new ambassador to Ethiopia Abu Bakr Hanafi at the St. Mark's Coptic Orthodox Cathedral in Abbassia district, Cairo.
The meeting tackled the future of the Egyptian-Ethiopian ties, the role of the Orthodox Church in boosting these ties through its relation with the church in Ethiopia, spokesman of the Orthodox Church in Egypt Polis Haleem said.
They also agreed on the details of Pope Tawadros's coming visit to Addis Ababa in September, Haleem added.
