
Port Said Stadium massacre trial has been postponed till Monday to continue listening to the defense team's plea.
As many as 72 persons were killed and 254 others injured in violence at al Ahly and al Masry teams clash at the Egyptian league in February 2012.
The defense team reiterated policemen statement in which they said the incidents were examples of football riots committed by the Ultras of the two clubs.
"No clear cut evidence of the defendants' involvement in the massacre is there," the defense team added.
On March 9, 2013, the Port Said Criminal court sentenced 21 suspects to death and 5 others to life imprisonment.
Seven policemen were found not guilty.
