
The preparatory committee of the 2nd round of the follow-up and political consultation meetings between Egyptian and Saudi foreign ministries is planned to convene on Sunday in Cairo
Assistant Foreign Minister for Arab Affairs Abdul Rahman Salah, Saudi undersecretary of foreign ministry for bilateral relations and Saudi Ambassador to Egypt Ahmed Qattan will preside over the meetings.
The meetings will tackle a number of regional and international issues of mutual concern including the situation in Yemen, Libya, Syria and Iraq as well as combating terrorism.
The meetings will also discuss means of encouraging Saudi investments in Egypt and ways to overcome hinders facing it as well as a suggestion to ink a memorandum of understating to enable Egyptians and Saudis with diplomatic passports to enter the two countries without issuing visas.
The meeting will also tackle ways of boosting cooperation in other countries including a number of African, Nile Basin and Islamic countries.
