
Yemen's President Abed Rabbo Mansour Hadi Wednesday lauded Saudi Arabia for supporting Yemen and its people in the internal crisis the country is currently facing.
In a statement released by Saudi Press Agency (SPA), Yemen's President hailed the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud's initiative to set up King Salman Center for Relief and Humanitarian Works.
Appreciating Saudi Arabia and GCC member states for supporting them in the crisis, Hadi said, "The resolute stand and support by King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud and GCC states has helped Yemen during its difficult days." Yemen's Vice President and Prime Minister Khaled Bahah said that King Salman Center for Humanitarian Relief is a step forward in the global relief work. It will serve the communities particularly Yemen during its difficult time." Earlier in the day, King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud patronized the inauguration ceremony of the Center at Al-Yamamah Palace and laid the foundation stone for the center's permanent headquarters.
President Hadi; Vice President and Prime Minister Bahah; Governor of Riyadh region Prince Faisal bin Bandar bin Abdulaziz; Ministry of Foreign Affairs for Multilateral Relations Undersecretary Prince Turki bin Mohammed bin Saud Al-Kabeer and a number of ministers, ambassadors from friendly countries and representatives from relief and humanitarian organizations attended the ceremony.
