Presidential decree forming Sinai development committee under Mahlab

President Abdel Fattah El Sisi on Tuesday issued a presidential decree forming a committee, chaired by presidential assistant for national and strategic projects Ibrahim Mahlab, to approve a package of development, services and infrastructure projects in North Sinai.
Upon the presidential decree, the committee will be also responsible for developing the public policies related to the national projects, overcoming problems that they may face, and set timetables for the implementation.
The committee will also be responsible for following up the implementation withing 18 months, it added.
