Coordination is underway among all ministries and bodies concerned to finalize under-construction and stalled projects as soon as possible, Prime Minister Sherif Ismail said on Sunday.
This move came as part of the government's endeavors to improve the quality of services provided for citizens in various sectors, such as housing, sanitation, transportation, health, education and irrigation, Ismail said at a ministerial meeting.
The priority will be given to projects with high implementation rates to finalize them on time, Cabinet Spokesman Hossam Qawish said.
Each ministry will choose an official, who will be responsible for following up the implementation of projects in all governorates, Qawish noted.
