
Prime Minister Ibrahim Mahlab left here on Wednesday after a two-day visit to Tunisia during which he met with Tunisian President Beji Caid Essebsi.
During his meeting with Essebsi, Mahlab conveyed a message from President Abdel Fattah El Sisi on the latest developments on the Arab and international arenas and other issues with common concern.
Also, the Egyptian Premier chaired meetings of the joint higher committee which discussed means to cement relations between Egypt and Tunisia, especially in the economic, investments, tourism and cultural domains.
As many as 16 memorandum of understandings were signed and an executive program for fostering bilateral cooperation in all areas was developed.
Mahlab was seen off at Carthage International Airport by Tunisian Prime Minister Habib Essid and a number of Tunisian officials.
