Prime Minister, North Sinai governor discuss Salam Canal project

Prime Minister Sherif Ismail on Sunday received North Sinai Governor Abdel Fattah Harhour to discuss steps taken with regard to the Salam Canal project.
The meeting, also attended by head of the Sinai Development Authority Major General Mohamed Shawky Rashwan, dealt with measures taken with regard to allocating land with bodies concerned at the ministries of agriculture, and irrigation and water resources.
The sides also discuss actions taken to remove difficulties facing the allocation of land prepared for being cultivated in North Sinai and Ismailia.
They also reviewed projects launched in Sinai and measures taken to provide services and facilities for residents there.
