Prime Minister probes garbage problem with ministers

Prime Minister Sherif Ismail called for finding radical solutions to the garbage problem in all governorates.
He made the remark during a meeting Monday with the ministers of planning, environment and local development and the governor of Cairo to discuss the issue of landfills.
He assigned the environment minister to complete studies on developing new sites to be used as landfills in Cairo and estimate the cost of the relocation of old ones.
He said a Cabinet decision on offering garbage recycling plants to investors has to be enforced.
