Prince Salman meets chairman of the shura council

His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad AlKhalifa, Crown Prince, Deputy Supreme Commander and First Deputy Prime Minister met Mr Ali Saleh Al Saleh, Chairman of the Shura Council, today at Gudaibiya Palace.The meeting discussed the importance of boosting cooperation between the executive and legislative authorities.His Royal Highness said that continued democratic progress in the Kingdom of Bahrain depends on strengthened co-operation between government and parliament, providing the greatest benefits to the country and its people, in line with the vision of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa.His Royal Highness also spoke of the significant role of both chambers of the National Assembly, the Council of Representatives and the Shura Council. He noted the important role of the Shura Council in contributing to development and growth in the Kingdom of Bahrain.
