Pro-Egypt campaign launched in Yemen's Aden

A pro-Egypt popular campaign was launched in the Yemeni city of Aden on Thursday.

The image of Abdel Fattah El Sisi on a billboard with a background of the Great Pyramids was set up in one of the biggest streets in Aden city.

The large-sized placard was subtitled by the phrase "Thank You Egypt; Mother of the World" (Egypt Above All).

The curtains on the billboard were opened up as part of two other campaigns to thank Saudi Arabia and the UAE for their roles in the Arab alliance to restore legitimacy in Yemen.

In statements, Feras Al Yafe'I, coordinator of the initiatives, praised Egyptian President Abdel Fattah El Sisi for his continued support to the Yemeni people and legitimate government.
