We shall nip Sunni/Shia strife in the bud, Nasrullah's deputy cleric Na'im Qasem, vowed before a group of visiting pro-Hizbullah dignitaries who met with him at his office today from North Lebanon today. Achieving intra-Islamic unity between Shias and Sunnites is a religious-patriotic obligation, he retorted. Qasem prescribed reorienting party compass towards Israel as a means of averting intra-Islamic strife and thwarting ill-intentioned US-Israeli designs. He blamed the Arab Spring on Israel and America arguing that both orchestrated the methodic destruction of Arab countries.
