
Qatar Charity and the Jordan Hashemite Charity Organization (JHCO) on Thursday signed a Cooperation and Financing Agreement for the benefit of Jordanian families and Syrian refugees in various parts of Jordan.
The Agreement was signed by Qatar Charity CEO, Yusuf Bin Ahmed Al-Kuwari, and JHCO Secretary-General, Ayman Mefleh in the presence of Qatar's Ambassador to Jordan, HE Bandar bin Mohammed Al Attiyah.
Before signing the Agreement, Mefleh stressed that the charity work secured by the State of Qatar in the Arab and Muslim worlds embodies a policy which require higher estimate, given that it seeks relief for the needy and the poor and to save them from misery and poverty.
He hailed the prominent role being played by Qatar Charity to support and fund humanitarian work in various parts of Jordan and its relief efforts to safeguard the principles of human dignity and the consecration of social justice.
The joint cooperation between Qatar Charity and JHCO started since many years and witnessed the implementation of several joint projects of humanitarian service aimed at serving the community in the Kingdom of Jordan, he added.
