
Qatar has denied what was said by UNAMID Spokesman that it has agreed to transfer the file of negotiation with the armed movements in Darfur to the Ethiopian capital, Addis Ababa .
Spokesman for Darfur Regional Authority (DRA), Professor Abdul Karim Musa said in a press release, Tuesday, that the State of Qatar has informed the DRA that what was reported by spokesman for UNAMID in Khartoum in a press conference held last, Monday, concerning Qatar acceptance of transference of negotiation file with the armed movements of Darfur from Doha to Addis Ababa, is totally unfounded .
Abdul Karim added that the Head of the African Union High Mechanism and the joint Mediator for the United Nations and the African Union, Thabo Mbeki has informed the State of Qatar that a cease-fire in Addis Ababa and the desire of movements to go to Doha in addition to their participation in the national dialogue .
