
HE Secretary General of the Council of Ministers Hamad bin Ahmed Al Mohannadi has held an expanded meeting at the headquarters of the General Secretariat of the Council of Ministers with directors of Legal Affairs departments at the ministries, governmental bodies and public institutions.
The meeting comes at the directions of HE Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of State for Cabinet Affairs Ahmed bin Abdullah Al Mahmoud as part of the keenness of the Cabinet's General Secretariat on enhancing the level of performance in the preparation and drafting of legislative tools in all ministries and other governmental bodies in order to meet the technical and organizational requirements.
The meeting focused on the mechanism of action of each ministry or government body in the proposal and drafting of the legislative tools and the identification of the obstacles that may encounter the legislative process and its procedures in general.
The meeting ended with a number of recommendations that would improve the legislative system and performance and the completion of the proposed legislations.
