Qatar's advisory council holds regular weekly meeting

The Advisory Council held Monday its weekly regular meeting of the 43rd ordinary session under the chairmanship of its Speaker HE Mohammed bin Mubarak Al Khulaifi.
At the outset of the meeting, HE Secretary-General of the Advisory Council Fahad bin Mubarak Al Khayareen read out the agenda, which was agreed upon. The council then endorsed the minutes of its previous session.
The council discussed a draft law amending provisions of Law No. 17 of 2010 regulating the National Human Rights Council and decided to submit it to the Legal and Legislative Affairs Committee to examine it.
The council then discussed the Legislative Affairs Committee's report on regulating the transplant of body parts. The council decided to present its recommendations to the cabinet.
