Rafah land crossing was opened on Thursday for the second day in row from one side to allow the passage of Palestinian pilgrims who are coming from Saudi Arabia back to the Gaza Strip.
The land crossing is opened exceptionally.
A total of 1,509 Palestinian pilgrims crossed the passageway while 2,025 tons of cement have also entered the enclave.
The land crossing has been closed since the terrorist attack against Egyptian servicemen in Karam Al Qwadees on October 24, 2014.
It is only opened exceptionally to allow the crossing of stranded Palestinians, humanitarian cases and relief assistance to the coastal enclave.
