RAK Ruler sets up executive council

His Highness Sheikh Saud Bin Saqr Al Qasimi, Supreme Council member and Ruler of Ras Al Khaimah has issued a law setting up the Ras Al Khaimah Executive Council. The law No. 7 of year 2012, states the setting of the Council to assist the Ruler perform his duties and functions. The new body will be chaired by the RAK Crown Prince, and all heads of local departments or directors general. It adds the setting up of departments, merging or annulling them, appointments of heads of departments, transfers, etc which will be through an emiri decree. Gulf Today
