
H.H. Sheikh Mohammed bin Saud bin Saqr Al Qasimi, Crown Prince of Ras al-Khaimah and Chairman of the Ras-al Khaimah Executive Council, has launched the "Happiness Centre" campaign, which is part of a government initiative to transform all local public government centres to happiness centres that look after the psychological, social and financial well-being of the general public.
He directed those involved to ensure that all required procedures are followed, in order to make this initiative successful. He also appointed Ahmed Yussuf Darweesh as General Manager of the Happiness Centres and to report to the executive council.
According to Dr. Mohammad Abdul Latif Khalifa, Secretary-General of the Executive Council of Ras al-Khaimah, this initiative is in harmony with the vision of Vice President, Prime Minister and Ruler of Dubai, His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum to make the country s government the best in the world. It will also comply with the strategy to promote general happiness, which should be applied by everyone in their everyday lives.
