The border crossing of Ras Jedir, governorate of Medenine, was re-opened, Saturday, at about 3 PM to those coming from Libya.
TAP news agency correspondent on the scene said the border post resumed its activity; Libyan families and members of diplomatic missions were able to cross.
Likewise, Egyptian nationals were allowed to enter the Tunisian territory, after having finalised their procedures, ahead of boarding buses that will take them directly to Djerba/Zarzis international airport for their evacuation to Egypt.
On Saturday morning, Libyans were only allowed to cross in cases of urgency or for humanitarian reasons, along with members of diplomatic missions, entry visa holders among Egyptians and Tunisian nationals returning to the country.
