The tripartite committee on the Ethiopian renaissance dam Friday resumed its second round of talks on the road map agreed by the irrigation ministers of Egypt, Sudan and Ethiopia in August.
The committee groups 12 experts - four from each country - who will select one or two international consultancy offices of the proposed nine to conduct studies recommended by an association of international experts, an official source told MENA.
Hopefully, an agreement would be reached later today before it is announced in an international press conference, the source said.
The source categorically denied rumors that one party is dictating terms.
The media should act to create a positive atmosphere that would encourage consensus and not dispute, the source stressed.
The three-way talks started in Cairo Thursday.
