
Yemeni southern popular resistance forces restored control over broad areas of Aden airport after clashes with Houthis and forces supporting former president Ali Abdullah Saleh.
The popular resistance forces also managed to drive them out of Khormaksar city.
Meanwhile, Saudi-led coalition warplanes shelled in the wee hours of the morning Houthis gatherings in Mansoura and Sheikh Osman districts and Badr camp.
The resistance called on Aden residents to join the battle against Houthis at Aden airport.
The resistance said it seized dozens of Houthis and presidential guards while liberating two public facilities.
In a press release, the resistance said they killed head of Houthi forces Yehia el Katoum during Aden airport clashes.
