H.H. Sheikh Dr. Sultan bin Mohammed Al Qasimi, Member of the Supreme Council and Ruler of Sharjah, has approved the appointment of 583 people on humanitarian and social grounds, and those with disabilities, in all departments and agencies of the Government of Sharjah.
The Human Resources Department submitted the list, including the names of these categories, as per the directives of the Ruler. The department referred to the social status of each family, individual and the extent of need to raise the level of income so that they are able to live a dignified life. Accordingly, Sheikh Sultan endorsed their appointment as per their educational qualifications, and the needs of departments and agencies.
Dr. Tariq Sultan bin Khadim, Member of the Executive Council of the Emirate of Sharjah, Chairman of the Human Resources Department, said, "The Ruler of Sharjah always directs us to accord due importance to humanitarian cases when employing applicants. He is aware there are families in need that do not ask people for help. In some cases, they may not be able to meet their daily requirements."
He added that the Ruler instructed the competent authorities to reach out to those in need to paint a smile on their faces.
