Ruler of Sharjah meets OIC Secretary General

Ruler of Sharjah Dr. Sheikh Sultan bin Mohamed Al-Qassemi met here today with Secretary General of the Organization of the Islamic Cooperation (OIC) Ekmeleddin Ihsanoglu. The two sides discussed aspects of cooperation between the OIC and the Emirate of Sharjah as well as the situation in Muslim world. The OIC Secretary General meanwhile praised Sharjah’s hosting of the Halal Food Middle East Conference and Exhibition, underling the importance of the role played by the event in enhancing economic and trade cooperation among OIC member countries.
