Giza Criminal Court has adjourned until February 2 a ruling session in the trial of 186 defendants held on charges of storming Kerdasa police station and killing members of a security force there.
The court delayed the session because the defendants were not dispatched from prison for security reasons.
In December, the court asked the mufti's opinion in executing the defendants.
The defendants had attacked the police station in the wake of the crackdown on Muslim Brotherhood protest camps in Cairo on August 14, 2013.
They were armed with firearms and RPGs.
The defendants are facing charges of committing terrorist crimes, premeditated and attempted murder, sabotaging public property, robbery, possession of explosives, arms and light weapons and unlawful assembly.
