Deputy Foreign Minister in charge of elections of Egyptian expatriates Hamdi Loza said the runoffs for the second stage of the parliamentary elections are going on smoothly without any technical difficulties or security obstacles reported in light of the constant coordination with the authorities concerned in the countries where they are taking place.
Asked about the turnout, Loza told reporters on Monday it was too early to reach a conclusion as regards turnout rates during the early hours of balloting especially that some polls have not even started.
However, he said a higher turnout is expected after 16:00 hours (local time) and until 21:00 hours, the closing time.
