
Lt. General HH Sheikh Saif bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Interior, recently honored at the ministry’s headquarters, Citizen Hamad Nasser Mohamed Khamis Al Shamesi in recognition of his sense of social responsibility and his distinguished action, which reflect his positive sense of patriotism.
HH Sheikh Saif bin Zayed Al Nahyan awarded UAE National Al Shamesi the Community Service Medal for his initiative to organize traffic on Al Ajban highway, when traffic flow was impeded due to road obstacles. Al Shamesi endeavored to organize traffic and secure the road pending the arrival of traffic police patrols, to prevent accidents and preserve everyone’s safety.
HH Sheikh Saif praised the positive behavior of the honoree, as well as his dedication and responsible demeanor. He called upon Al Shamesi to maintain this positive attitude, which contributes to enhance social communication between police bodies and society.
The ceremony was attended by Major General Dr. Nasser Lakhrebani Al Nuaimi, Secretary General of the Office of HH Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Interior; Brigadier Eng. Hussein Ahmed Al Harithi, Director General of Central Operations at Abu Dhabi Police; and a number of high ranking officers.
