Saudi Arabia, Egypt begin joint naval exercise

Hosted by the Western Fleet, the joint Saudi-Egyptian naval forces exercises comprising Royal Saudi Naval Forces and Egyptian Naval Forces, kicked off here today and witnessed participation of a number of Royal Saudi Air force aircrafts. Saudi naval ships taking part in the exercise “Morjan 13″ headed into the open sea to join the Egyptian navy ships, before the launch of their joint exercises. The exercise Morjan 13 is taking place every two years and to be hosted, in turn, between the two countries and in this time, it is expected to last for ten days.
