Saudi condemns all kinds of violence against children

The kingdom of Saudi Arabia condemned all forms of violence against children, including physical and psychological violence.
The kingdom's representative to the United Nations in Geneva Ambassador Faisal Trad today made a statement before the Human Rights Council during its discussion of the issue of violence against children.
The kingdom's representative highlighted the importance of promotion and protection of the rights of children stressing Islamic law's protection of all human rights, including the rights of children.
The kingdom's representative explained the kingdom's efforts in this field including its accession to conventions on protection of children.
