
The first Egyptian-Saudi coordination council underlined the importance of cementing bilateral ties in various domains for the best interest of both countries.
The coming council meeting will be held in Egypt, according to a statement issued by the council in line with directives of Saudi King Salman ben Abdel Aziz and Egyptian President Abdel Fattah El Sisi.
The council meeting was held on Wednesday under the chairmanship of the Egyptian and Saudi premiers; Sherif Ismail and Prince Mohamed ben Salman ben Abdel Aziz respectively.
Working teams will be formed to review initiatives, agreements and memorandums of understanding signed between the two countries, read the statement.
