Saudi Foreign Minister Saud Al-Faisal has called for international consensus rejecting "the coup" in Yemen to get the country out of its current crisis.
The remarks were made during a joint press conference with British Foreign Secretary Philip Hammond.
"The solution in Yemen can only be reached through international consensus rejecting the coup and its consequences, including the withdrawal of armed Al-Houthi from all state institutions in addition to enabling the legitimate government to practice its constitutional tasks,"
He called on the international community to urgently respond to a call by Yemen's President Abd Rabu Mansour Hadi for holding a conference in Riyadh for all Yemeni political parties which are willing to maintain security and stability in Yemen.
The Saudi minister stressed the depth of historical and strong relations between the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and the United Kingdom.
