
The Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud issued on Saturday five royal orders that relieved some officials and appointed several others at the kingdom's top posts.
The orders included appointing seven new members at the Majlis Al-Shura (or Advisory Council), Saudi Press Agency (SPA) reported on Saturday. Under these orders, Abdullah bin Abdul Karim bin Abdulaziz Al-Essa was appointed as Undersecretary of the Ministry of Interior for Security Affairs at Excellent Rank.
Engineer Mohammed bin Hamad Al-Madhy was also named as Chairman of the General Organization for Military Industries at Excellent Rank, SPA said.
Dr. Saad bin Mohammed bin Saad Al-Huraiji, Director of Al Baha University, and Engineer Abbas bin Ahmed bin Mohammed Hadi, Deputy Housing Minister, were relieved from his posts.
The Royal Orders instructed the concerned authorities to carry out the order with immediate effect.
