
The Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud of Saudi Arabia received today a telephone call from the US Barack Obama, in which the US president conveyed reaching a framework accord with Iran on its nuclear program, displaying U.S. keenness on peace and stability, alike, throughout the region.
For his part, the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques expressed, over the line, hope to reach a final and mandatory accord conducive to consolidating regional as well as international security and stability, Saudi Press Agency SPA reported.
During the conversation, the president talked about the development of events, in Yemen, reaffirming U.S. full commitment to sustain Saudi Arabia' s capabilities, to defend itself.
The Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, in turn, thanked the president, emphasizing the strength of bilateral relations binding the two friendly countries.
