
Saudi King Salman bin Abdulaziz's upcoming visit of Cairo comes at a very critical phase due to the ongoing major events in the region, said.
The king's visit and his meeting with Egyptian President Abdel Fattah El Sisi will give a boost to already-close bilateral relations, the Saudi envoy told MENA Monday.
Speaking of the convoluted regional events, he said "Operation Decisive Storm" succeeded in confronting foreign influence in the Arab region.
The complicated regional situation makes it even more imperative on Egypt and Saudi Arabia to cooperate and coordinate, he said.
