
Saudi Crown Prince, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Defense Prince Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud on Tuesday expressed his happiness for coming to the State of Qatar to participate in the 35th session of the Supreme Council of the Gulf Cooperation Council for the Arab States along with the other GCC leaders.
In a brief arrival statement, Prince Salman said that he conveys greetings and best wishes of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Abdullah bin Abdulaziz Al Saud for his brothers attending the summit, saying that the King had deputized him to attend the summit.
He expressed hope for the success of the summit especially at this critical stage where many challenges are facing the region, a matter that would necessitate stronger consolidation of efforts to deal with them.
He thanked the Amir of Qatar Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani for the warm hospitality.
