
Council of Representatives Speaker, Ahmed Ibrahim Al-Mulla, praised the Egyptian-Qatari reconciliation initiative of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Abdullah bin Abdulaziz Al-Saud of Saudi Arabia as to open a new page between the two Arab States. The Saudi initiative was welcomed by HM King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa and the rest of GCC leaders to preserve unity, integration and cooperation of Arab and Islamic nations.
Parliament Speaker, in a press conference held today, said that joint Arab action requires the support of Arab legislative and parliamentary councils for initiatives aim at overcome disputes between Arab countries in order to face current challenges at the levels of development, counter-terrorism and preventing all forms of foreign interference in internal affairs of Arab countries.
He hailed the Qatari and Egyptian leadership's approval and response to the Saudi reconciliation initiative that cement strategic, political and economic cooperation between Egypt and other countries of the region.
